Creating a RoadPple account takes just a few minutes, and once you know what to expect at each stage, the whole thing feels straightforward. This post will walk you through every step and by the time you finish reading, your account will be ready to go.

Step 1: Fill In Your Details on the RoadPple Signup Page

Head to the RoadPple signup page and you will find a form asking for your basic information. Enter your first name, last name, and the username you want to go by on the platform. You will also set a password at this stage, so choose something secure that you will remember. One of the fields asks how you heard about RoadPple, go ahead and select the option that applies to you. Once everything looks good, click the "Create Account" button to move to the next step.

Step 2: Verify Your Email Address

After submitting your details, RoadPple will send a four-digit verification code to the email address you registered with. Open your email app, find the mail from RoadPple, and copy that code. Then head back to the verification page, paste the code into the box provided, and click "Verify." The whole thing takes about thirty seconds. If the email does not show up after a couple of minutes, check your spam folder first, and if it is still not there, use the "Resend Code" option on the page to request a fresh one.

Step 3: Verify Your Phone Number

Once your email is confirmed, the next page moves on to your phone number. A verification code is sent to the number you provided during signup. Type that code into the field on the screen and click "Verify" to confirm it. Just like with the email step, there is a "Resend Code" option available on this page if the message takes too long or does not come through at all. Phone verification adds a layer of security to your account, so it is worth taking the thirty extra seconds to complete it properly.

Step 4: Upload Your Profile Picture

This step is where you will be prompted to upload a profile picture. You can choose any photo from your device, and it does not need to be a professional headshot. Anything that represents you works perfectly fine. Tap or click the upload area, select your photo from your gallery or files, and you are done with this step. Keep in mind that your profile picture is one of the first things other users see when they come across your account, so go with something you are happy with.

Step 5: Upload Your ID for Identity Verification

This is the most important step while creating your RoadPple account, especially if you are signing up to be a planner (our next post will walk you through this). RoadPple verifies your identity using a government issued document along with a facial scan, and the way you go through this step depends on what device you are using.

If you are on a laptop or desktop, the platform will display a QR code on your screen. Scan that QR code with your phone to continue the process there, since the ID upload and face verification happen on your mobile device. If you are already on your phone, you skip straight past the QR code and go directly to the document selection screen.

Depending on your country, you will see a list of accepted document types. Select the one you want to use and click continue. RoadPple will walk you through the rest from there. It is also worth knowing that this step is not mandatory at this exact moment. If you are in a rush or do not have your document handy, you can skip identity verification for now and come back to complete it later from your account settings.

Step 6: Take Photos of Your Document

If you are completing identity verification now, you will need to photograph both sides of your chosen document. Make sure you are in a well-lit space and that both images are clear and easy to read. Blurry or dark photos tend to cause delays, so take a moment to get it right before submitting. Front first, then back, and once both images are submitted, RoadPple reviews them as part of the RoadPple registration process.

Step 7: Welcome to Your RoadPple Homepage

And that is it! You have completed your RoadPple account setup and you are officially a RoadPple user. The platform drops you right onto your homepage, and from here, everything is available to you. Take a moment to look around, get familiar with the layout, and explore what is waiting for you. You have done the hard part, and now you get to enjoy the experience.
